Rick Spencer doing his best Evita impression – “Don’t cry for me Kansas City”
Don Flamenco heard that Little Mac was in this crowd. He showed off his best moves, to entice Little Mac, but he would not show his face.
“Can you see me now?”

Society Director of Operations Rick Spencer models extremely poor singing posture as he directs the MegaSing at the Power & Light District Saturday, just before the Harmony Foundation Show. When asked about it later, Rick said, “But Jim DeBusman told me that’s how I should stand.”

1,800 people are lured to a downtown Kansas City location by an Internet notice claiming that exercises will be taught which reverse male pattern baldness.
Unfortunately, after one particularly grotesque contortion brings the Pied Piper’s own hairless tonsure patch into view, the assembled crowd ceases to imitate his gyrations and merely fixes him with baleful stares.
Rick Spencer giving his best impression of “cuchi-cuchi” girl Charo. Will he be the “new” “cuchi-cuchi” boy?
Where did all of my hair go?
Rick Spencer, the Barbershop Harmony Society’s, Director of Operations, leads 1,800 singers in his own rendition of; “I Left My Hair In Kansas City” at the 2011 International Contest.
Hoping to score big with the older crowd at the Mega Sing on Saturday afternoon in Kansas City, Society Director of Operations, Rick Spencer tries unsuccessfully to lead them in the disco classic, “Funkytown”. Spencer had gone to great lengths for this event, learning special choreography and even wearing a 70′s era disco shirt. Unfortunately, the crowd was unresponsive.
Rick Spencer captures the attention of random passers-by who then spontaneously burst into song. Just another typical day in Kanas City….
“OK… Anybody who knew me when I had all my hair raise your hand”
“…. Anybody???”
OK Now…Who wants to PLAY??? We have the actual bucking bronco bull from Gilly’s Bar & Grill and whoever can sing a complete tag while riding the bull gets two tickets to next year’s International Contest! Now don’t be shy…Raise your hands high…it’s your last chance. Come on now…raise your hands high…..now….RIGHT NOW….anyone at all…just raise them up high………uh……right now……please….
Rick Spencer leads the Kansas City crowd in Kansas City through a rousing rendition of Joe Lile’s arrangement of ‘Doin’ The Macarena!’ Amazingly, these folks were still malingering 5 days after the close of the convention… (look closely)
